MILWAUKEE POWER TOOLS MALAYSIA WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Milwaukee offers limited warranty for New and repaired equipment subject to terms and conditions listed below:
What’s covered:
- The new equipment is warranted for Two (2)* years or Five (5) Times (whichever occurs first) starting from the beginning of the date of purchase of the ORIGINAL invoice or in the month the product was manufactured if the date of purchase is unclear.
- While repaired equipment is warranted by the Company for One (1) month.
- This warranty covers any defects in material or repair workmanship under normal use during the warranty period, HDC will repair at no charge, products or parts of products that proves defective due to improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
- Warranty will only valid if equipment is maintained and operated as specified in the USER MANUAL, and only been serviced by any of the Company authorized service centers Milwaukee Heavy Duty Center (HDC).
- We reserve the right to amend, modify, or terminate the terms and conditions of this warranty at any time without prior notice, at our sole discretion
What’s NOT covered:
- This warranty does not cover attachment and normal wear & tear parts, including but limited to Rubber parts, Seals, Hoses, Vacuum motor, Carbon Brushes, Bearing, Gear , Yoke, Tools Holder, Chuck Adaptor, Spindle, Button, Filter, Selector, Power Cord, Plug Top and Housing on the 2nd year from the date of purchase of which costs of repairing shall be fully borne by Customer.
- This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, improper user or maintenance or repairs, Customer’s facility fault, or where the equipment has been modified in any matters without the consent of the Company or any other actions beyond normal and reasonable use of the power tool.
- Warranty is void if products are used for any purpose other than that was intended or serviced by unauthorized service center. Please always refer to user manuals for maintenance instruction and webpage to locate our Authorized Service Centers.
Warranty Claim Procedure
Please return the complete unit with transport prepaid by sender, to any local Milwaukee Service Centre with Valid Proof of purchase (cash bill or invoice)** for warranty claim.
Voiding the Warranty
- This warranty is void if tools are purchased from authorized dealers or not sold in compliance with our suggested retail price.
- The warranty does not apply if the power tool has been subjected to unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.
- The warranty is invalid if the power tool has been used in a way that conflicts with the instructions provided in the user manual.
Transferability
This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the power tool
Limitations of Liability
Techtronic Power Tools Malaysia is shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the power tool, even if Techtronic Power Tools Malaysia has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The liability of Techtronic Power Tools Malaysia is strictly limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the power tool.
Warranty for obsolete model/beyond repair unit
In the event when a tool under warranty cannot be repaired due to obsolescent or certain condition where spare parts are not available or unrepairable, a new unit shall be given as replacement unit, where:
a) Value of replacement tool is equivalent to the warranted tool’s value.
b) Warranty due date of the replacement tools shall follow as the warranted tool.
The term only covers the general warranty policy for tools purchased in Malaysia only. Details may vary from country to country. Please consult the local Milwaukee service center for more details.
*1st Year covers all wear & tear parts excludes battery, charger, LED lighting.
* Not applicable for Milwaukee SDS-MAX series.
* Company reserves the right to update this document at any time without prior notification.
** Company reserves the right to reject warranty claim if no valid document was present.
